Journal of Women's Health Raises Questions About Risks of Birth Control

journal of womens healthA journal of women's health raises many necessary questions that are long overdue considering risks of birth control and cardio health. After 50 years of birth control use little is known about the effects birth control pills have on women's heart. Big questions remain about the safety of their use and the elevated risk of cardiovascular disease. The January 20, edition of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology spells it all out very clear at this site, voices.washingtonpost.com. One reader commented that it is very unclear why it is dangerous for menopausal women to take supplemental estrogen but it is given freely to teens through 40 year olds via birth control pills. Good question. Wonder why nobody has ever brought this up before?
