We all know us women are supposed to go for our yearly well woman check ups at the doctor's office. These annual well woman exams are supposed to include procedures like breast exams, pap smears, pregnancy tests, and cervical cancer exams. Most women know that yeast infections are common and because they are common most women will just diagnose themselves. Once they are diagnosed, they will treat themselves with some sort of over-the-counter cream.

But what some women forget is that vaginal infections, however common, should still be discussed with a physician. The following is one of the most talked about health infection: women's yeast. Our vaginal fluids may turn into yeast if bacteria is allowed to accumulate. Instead of treating them with creams once they present themselves, it is best to use preventative measures.
